US Marines of the post-war era continued to wear the classic forest green wool service dress tunic, though the post-war model differed slightly by having a partial satin lining. This USMC Marine US Post-WW2 Badged Forest Green Wool Service Dress Tunic is in very good condition, with pinholes at the left chest where an additional badge appears to have once been, and with some light overall age wear evident. Most interestingly, it features a 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing patch at the left shoulder, a fine plastic covered two row ribbon rack at the left chest with some impressive awards, forest green on red felt Staff Sergeant chevrons at the sleeves, M-37 enlisted man’s Eagle, Globe, and Anchor insignias at the collar points, and a partial satin lining, distinguishing it as a post-war model.
