Sights / Optics: The front sight is a hooded beaded blade that is attached to a ramped base. The rear sight is a U notched elevator sight that is dovetailed to the barrel. A Redfield fully adjustable rear aperture sight is attached to the left side of the receiver. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The one-piece checkered walnut stock has a capped pistol grip, straight comb, two sling loops, and checkered metal buttplate. The stock shows light wear from handling and storage. The checkering is mostly sharp, a couple spots are worn. The wood shows scattered light scratches, some scuff marks, and minor compressions. There are no chips or cracks present. The LOP measures 13 ½” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate shows light edge wear, it remains in Nice condition. The wood to metal fit is tight. This stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its original metal finish. There is some finish loss and thinning in a few spots along the barrel. The metal shows some light handling and storage marks. There is some scattered light surface oxidation. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good to Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The safety functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
