Our Assessment:
The Remington Model 541-T represents the pinnacle of rimfire bolt-action design from the golden era of American gunmaking. With its heavy target barrel and walnut stock, this rifle offers both benchrest accuracy and traditional sporting refinement. Intended for serious smallbore shooters, it was one of the last rimfires from Remington to receive such careful machining and attention to detail before production costs shifted priorities.
This example, topped with a 3–9x scope and still retaining 95% of its original finish, is ready for precision work on the range or small game in the field. With its grooved receiver, clean bore, and smooth cycling action, it delivers everything you’d expect from a top-tier American-made rimfire rifle. These 541-Ts are only getting harder to find in this condition, making this one a worthy piece for the serious shooter or collector.
