Our Assessment:This is a classic Parker-Hale 2-band 1853 Enfield rifle-musket — a top-tier, historically faithful reproduction of one of the most important military rifles of the 19th century. Produced in Birmingham, England, by Parker-Hale using original-style methods and tooling, these rifles far surpass most Italian reproductions in both fidelity and craftsmanship.
The original Pattern 1853 Enfield saw service across the globe and was one of the most widely used rifles of the American Civil War. This 2-band model replicates the shorter Artillery Musketoon, prized for its excellent handling and balance. It’s a perennial favorite among reenactors, target shooters, and collectors alike.
Whether you’re looking to reenact, compete in black powder rifle matches, or simply add a fine reproduction of a historic military rifle to your collection, this Parker-Hale Enfield delivers quality, authenticity, and charm. With a bright bore, solid mechanics, and crisp markings, it’s ready to shoot or show.
