Our Assessment: These little pocket revolvers often saw hard use as everyday tools. This one seems to have escaped that fate and remains a far better example of a large bore pocket revolver that likely saw time on the frontier.

Bore Condition: The bore is gray and the rifling is clear. There is mild erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: There are areas of finish loss, some have oxidation and erosion. There are areas of cloudy finish and swirl marks. There are some little nicks and light scratches. The grips are smooth bone with grain lines. There are some scattered light handling marks. The screw heads are very good. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this gun. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
