Ruger Single-Six .32 H&R Magnum Single Action Revolver & Box
Our Assessment: The Ruger Single-Six is a popular line of single-action revolvers produced by Sturm, Ruger & Co. and was first introduced in 1953. The Single-Six revolvers are known for their classic design and robust construction. This example was MANUFACTURED in 1984 and is a New Model Single-Six Model 06502, chambered for .32 H&R Magnum. The 32 H&R Magnum was developed and first introduced in 1984 as a joint venture between H&R and Federal Premium ammunition. This caliber offers substantially more performance than most other .32 caliber handgun cartridges, and is considered an effective small-game hunting cartridge. The New Model Single-Six introduced a transfer bar safety system, which allows the revolver to be safely carried with all six chambers loaded. The transfer bar prevents the hammer from striking the firing pin unless the trigger is fully pulled to the rear. This Ruger Single-Six has a 5.5" barrel, well preserved blue finish, sturdy hardwood grips, it has tip-top mechanics, and an excellent bore. The Ruger New Model Single-Six is well known for its build quality, reliability and versatility. This well maintained Single-Six will be perfect for cowboy action shooting and will go well in any revolver collection.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a ramped and serrated blade that is integral to a rectangular base. The rear sight is a fully adjustable square notch pinned and set screwed to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece smooth hardwood with Ruger Phoenix medallions. The wood shows light wear from handling and storage. There are a few minor scuffs and scratch marks. These grips rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright, the rifling is sharp. There is some stubborn fouling in the grooves. In this writer's opinion, this bore rates a 9.5 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 96-97% of its metal finish. There is a turn line through the finish on the cylinder. The balance of the finish shows light wear from handling and storage. The metal shows some minor nicks and scratch marks, more notably on the black alloy frame. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Very Good Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions Correctly. The cylinder locks with a little play on each chamber. We did not fire this firearm. We have cleaned this firearm and performed a mechanic's check but expect many will want to clean the firearm again depending on their standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This Single-Six includes a black and yellow Ruger cardboard box. The box shows moderate wear and is being held together with black tape, it remains in good usable condition.
