Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with a red insert, it is set on a ramped base that is integral to the rib. The rear sight is a white outlined square notch S&W micrometer sight fixed to the topstrap.
Grip Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered Goncalo Alves target stocks have some scattered small spots of finish loss and little marks through the finish. The checkering is sharp. The grips rate in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There are a couple spots of faint surface erosion in the bore. There are some areas of stubborn fouling. In this writer's opinion and for the age, the bore rates a 9 out of 10.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some scattered light scuffs and some finish wear on the leading edges. There are a few tiny spots of finish loss and a light drag line and a few spots of oxidation on the cylinder. The screw heads are sharp to lightly worn with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The yoke moves slowly then releasing the cylinder likely due to dried oil/grease. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a more thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
