Our Assessment: The Beretta Model 89 was a gun designed for competitive shooting. It features grips suited for a right handed shooter and adjustable target sights. Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a blade fixed to the front of the barrel and the rear sight is an adjustable screw-set square-notch fixed ot the top of the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The grip panels are two-piece stippled wood with a thumb rest on the left panel. The grip panels have some light handling marks but they lack any notable defects. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grip panels are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion in the bore. In this writer’s opinion, this bore rates a 10 out of 10.
Overall Condition: The pistol retains about 99% of its metal finish. There are some light handling marks, but the gun lacks any other notable defects. The markings remain clear. The screwheads are lightly tooled and remain serviceable. Overall, the gun is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: The gun comes with a blue Beretta box with foam padding, two ten-round magazines, two spare front sights, a cleaning brush and three different sized allen wrenches.
