Colt 3rd Generation Nez Perce Special edition 7 1/2" .45 Single Action Army Revolver & CaseOur Assessment: A particularly Rare special edition Single Action Army, this revolver is one of 75 produced to commemorate the centennial of the Nez Perce War, a series of skrimishes as the tribe attempted to retreat across the Northern border into Canda. While the remaining tribe members would be cornered about 40 miles from their destination, the American public and their opponents in the US Army were captivated by their skill and bravery. This revolvers story, engraving, and extremely limited production will make a wonderful addition to any collection.
