Restored Pre-War 1941 Winchester Model 70 Target G7048C .220 Swift 26" Bolt Action Rifle
Our Assessment: This a vintage pre-1964 Winchester Model 70 Target rifle chambered in .220 Swift and made in 1941. The Target model has a medium heavy profile 26" barrel and is mounted in a target-style walnut stock. There are provisions for just about any style of sights or optics you could want to mount on the barrel and receiver. The rifle is in excellent condition as restored with evidence of light and responsible use. This a beautiful rifle in a great target cartridge that is ready to test your skills. That said, the Pre-64 Winchesters have high collector interest and this Target model in .220 Swift would be a great addition to a Winchester collection, regardless of the intended use! Good luck and happy bidding!
