Smith & Wesson .455 Mark II Hand ejector 1st Model .455 Webley 6.5" Triple Lock RevolverOur Assessment: This Smith & Wesson's .455 Hand ejector 1st Model, only about 6,000 of this model were made and many have been converted to different calibers and/or been refinished. The revolver has a 6 1/2-inch barrel with a blued finish, service sights, and checkered walnut stocks. It was sold commercially in Britain and has British proofs, but made it back into the United States before an import mark was required. This looks good for a revolver of its age. It has matching part numbers and retains a lot of its original finish. This will be a great addition to your WWI or Smith & Wesson collection. This one has good mechanics and with the build quality of these vintage revolvers should last a couple more lifetimes if properly cared for. Please see our photos and good luck!
