Marlin Model 1894 .44 Rem Mag Lever Action Rifle & Box MFD 2011Our Assessment: The Marlin Model 1894 is a lever-action repeating rifle introduced in 1894 by the Marlin Firearms Company of North Haven, Connecticut. At its introduction the rifle came with a 24-inch barrel and was chambered for a variety of rounds such as .25-20 Winchester, .32-20 Winchester, .38-40, and .44-40. Variants in other chamberings remain in production today. The Marlin 1894 is one of the stronger lever-action designs ever produced; it has been in production, with very few changes, for over a century now. The action is robust, dependable, and remarkably easy to disassemble and clean. As a field rifle, it is handy to pair this light and easy-to-use carbine with a similarly chambered revolver. Cowboy Action Shooters have embraced this design, as well. This a beautiful Marlin 1894 made in 2011 chambered in .44 Magnum, a very popular caliber amongst Cowboy Action Shooters. This will make a very happy owner of the winning bidder! Please see our photos and good luck!
