In four short years, the US Army Air Forces grew from a small air service to a mighty armada that swept the Luftwaffe from the skies, and was capable of projecting force on a global scale. AAF pilots of WW2 were issued the classic T-30 throat microphone for improved communications in the cockpit. This US Army AAF WW2 Pilot T-30 Throat Microphone is in very good condition, with only some light overall stiffening and age wear evident. Otherwise, the microphone is in fine shape, with no other damage to the tough black rubber construction. Most interestingly, it bears the original model and maker information molded into the front, carries the original "INSTRUCTIONS SHEET" still folded up and included, and sports the original wiring with end plug, though we offer it as a non-functional historical collectible only. A fine example of a rare, original US Army AAF WW2 Pilot T-30 Throat Microphone.
